Their statement reads as follows:
“We sincerely appreciate your continued support for our products.
With the release of “Gakuseikai-chou: Shidou Kina no Inmon” (学生会長・紫藤喜那の淫纏) on March 28, 2025, we have decided to suspend the development of new titles.
We thank all users and those involved for their support throughout these 15 years of continuous releases of new titles.
However, sales of previous titles and user support will continue as normal.
If there are any changes to the situation in the future, we will make a new announcement.”
Atelier Sakura has been releasing new erotic visual novels almost non-stop for years, and this break may just be a well-deserved vacation, since they have stated that they will continue to sell their old titles. However, it has raised many questions from fans.
